Norvic Shipping International Ltd today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Peter Borup as Chief Executive Officer of its Dry Bulk division effective August 1st, 2018. Norvic Shipping is a leading international operator of modern dry bulk vessels headquartered in Toronto, Canada with regional offices in Houston, New York, Copenhagen, Dubai, Delhi, Mumbai & Singapore.

Peter Borup has over 25 years of international shipping experience. Most recently he headed the dry cargo activities of J. Lauritzen (2013-17) as President. Prior to that, Peter worked for D/S Norden A/S as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Norden Shipping (Singapore) Pte Ltd (2002-2013), as deputy director at A.P Moller Newbuilding (1999-2001), and as General manager at Maersk Broker Beijing and at Maersk Broker Korea (1994-1999).
