Norvic Shipping was founded in 2006 in Toronto, Canada. Initially, Norvic’s focus was the oceanic transportation of crude oil and petroleum products, mainly operating the tankers Aframax and Suezmax.
Norvic’s primary goal was to offer a competitive alternative to the existing solutions. For this reason, it focused on establishing and maintaining high-performance standards, as well as personal, long-term customer relations.
In 2012 Norvic expanded its business area by venturing into dry bulk cargo, adopting Post Panamax and Baby Cape bulkers to the fleet.
Since this move, Norvic has expanded its dry bulk activities many-fold, thereby establishing itself as a leading dry bulk operator worldwide.
With the goal of enhancing Norvic’s ability to meet customer demands, Norvic took its first steps to expanding globally in 2012 opening its first overseas office in New Delhi, India.
